The Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) has recently ranked the top among 43 international aviation companies in the field of safety of operational performance. Dr Khalid bin Bakr, the Director General of SAA, has expressed happiness for this recognition which comes form an international neutral aviation organization with a membership of more than 275 aviation companies. He noted that this international recognition with the efficiency and perfectness of SAA's maintenance programs is a new addition to the record of SAA's achievements. Dr Bin Bakr pointed our that in 1985 SAA obtained an international recognition for its unlimited efficiency in the field of maintenance. He noted that in line with that international recognition SAA had received a license from the Administration of the American Federal Aviation for the maintenance of its own planes and planes of other international aviation companies. 'This international recognition will encourage us to develop our performance in various spheres', he said reiterating the keenness of SAA on providing its passengers with all means of comfort.
