Two NATO soldiers were killed in two separate incidents in southern Afghanistan Monday, the alliance said in a statement, according to AP. «One soldier was killed by enemy hostile action and another was killed in an improvised explosive device blast while supporting an Afghan National Police operation,» the statement said. NATO did not disclose the nationalities of the dead soldiers or the exact location of the incidents. Separately, a suicide bomber in eastern Afghanistan struck a military patrol in Paktika province also on Monday, wounding four Afghan soldiers and a civilian translator working with the U.S.-led coalition, said a provincial government spokesman Ghamai Mohammadyar. The bomber, who died in the blast, attacked the patrol in Paktika's Bermel district, which is close to the border with Pakistan.
