The number of passengers carried by the Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) during the first phase of SAA's operational plan for this year's summer season to various parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad up to yesterday amounted to more than 2,433,378 passengers. The figure included 1, 475,171 passengers on domestic flights, and 958,207 passengers on international flights. SAA is expected to transport 5.3 million passengers on departure and arrival flights during the entire summer season. SAA's Director General Dr Khaled Bin Bakr expressed happiness for the success attained by SAA, and urged all its officials to double their efforts for carrying out the rest of the operational plan.
