The Chairman of Iran's Expediency Discernment Council of the System, Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, said today Saudi-Iranian relations are "good" stressing that further enhancement of the bilateral ties will serve the interests of both countries and the Muslim World. During a meeting with Saudi Ambassador to Iran Dr. Nasser Al-Braik, Rafsanjani reviewed the recent developments and the responsibility of both countries to provide security and stability in the region. He added that the uprooting of terrorism comes through wide-ranging cooperation between the influencing countries in the world. Dr. Al-Braik, who met with Rafsanjani on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic assignment in Tehran, expressed hope that the bilateral relations will witness more expansion in all fields.
