The Organization the Islamic Conference (OIC) has condemned the killing of the Egyptian ambassador to Iraq, Ihab Al-Shareef. In a statement issued here today, OIC's Secretary General Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu condoled the Egyptian people and the family of the deceased, and reiterated the solidarity of the OIC with the efforts being exerted by the Egyptian Government to help the Iraqi people and ensure law and order in Iraq. Meanwhile, in a message to British Premier Tony Blair, Professor Ekmeleddin slammed the blast incidents in London on Thursday. He confirmed the solidarity of the OIC with the ongoing efforts to uproot international terrorism.
