The Makkah-based Muslim World League (MWL) has condemned the killing of the chief of the Egyptian diplomatic mission in Iraq, Dr Ihab Al-Shareef by the deviant group. Dr Abdullah Al-Turki, the MWL's Secretary General, in a statement here today, expressed deep anxiety about the sad developments in Iraq, and described such criminal acts as a sort of corruption on the land. 'The MWL would like to condemn practices of violence, kidnapping and killing as well as all forms of aggression', he said. The statement of the MWL urged the Iraqi people to forge cooperation for confronting seditions and avoiding disunity. The statement called on the Muslims and their governments to work for rescuing Iraq from the oven of seditions and to work for enabling it to come back to its Islamic fold, and to remain as a stable country which cooperates with the rest of the world.
