Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr Abdullah Al-Turki arrived in Assyut city last night at the head of the MWL's delegation in response to an invitation extended to him by Egyptian Minister of State for legal affairs Dr Mufeed Shihab. He will review with a number of officials the best means of explaining the Islamic rules as well as forging dialogue among Muslim countries and others in addition to participation in the forums due to be organized by the League of the Islamic Universities in a number of Egyptian cities. In an arrival statement, Dr Al-Turki underlined the importance of joint Islamic works and cooperation between the MWL and the League of the Islamic Universities. He highlighted the services being extended by the Egyptian cultural institutions and universities to the Islamic culture. Dr Al-Turki affirmed the readiness of the MWL to cooperate with the Egyptian universities in all domains that might serve the Islamic culture and refute the biased campaigns launched against Islam and Muslims.
