Chaired by its Chairman Dr. Salih bin Abdullah bin Homaid, the Shoura Council held here today its 19th ordinary session. During the meeting, the members discussed draft resolution for managing costal areas and public services. Following the session, the Council's Secretary General Dr. Salih Al-Malik said the goals of the project as well as the development of costal areas were discussed. The council also discussed a bill on keeping costal areas uneaten by construction works or urban facilities. In addition, the council discussed the prevention of pumping sewage treated and partially treated water into costal areas and the stoppage of any activities affecting corals.
