SHOURA COUNCIL HELD TODAY ITS 33 ORDINARY SESSION CHAIRED BY ITS CHAIRMAN SHEIKH DR. SALIH BIN ABDULLAH BIN HOMAID. DURING THE SESSION, SHEIKH DR. SALIH TALKED ABOUT THE POLITICAL SITUATION IN THE REGION, INCLUDING WAR ON LEBANON WHICH TOOK PLACE THIS SUMMER. SHEIKH DR. SALIH CONDEMNED THE ISRAELI AGGRESSION ON PALESTINE AND LEBANON. HE ALSO HAILED THE HUMANITARIAN STAND OF THE SAUDI GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE IN SUPPORT OF THE GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE OF LEBANON IN THE POLITICAL, DIPLOMATIC FINANCIAL FIELDS. THEN, THE COUNCIL STARTED DISCUSSION OF A BILL ON COMBATING DATA CRIMES AND OTHER ISSUES. FOLLOWING THE MEETING, THE SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE COUNCIL DR. SALIH ALMALIK SAID THE COUNCIL WAS BRIEFED ON THE ACTIVITIES OF THE SHOURA COUNCIL'S DELEGATIONS TO A NUMBER OF CONFERENCES HELD IN CAIRO SEVERAL WEEKS AGO.
