Polls closed in Iran's presidential election on Friday four hours after the scheduled end of voting, an Interior Ministry spokesman said. Jahanbakhsh Khanjani said polling stations had closed at 11 p.m. (1830 GMT), though anyone already waiting to vote would be allowed to do so. The voting, which had started at 9 a.m. (0430 GMT), was extended three times to accommodate late-comers.
