The Tokyo stock market ended slightly higher Thursday, supported by an overnight gain on Wall Street, traders said. The 225-issue Nikkei average ended at 11,416.38, up 0.50 points. The Topix index of all first section issues added 2.31 points, or 0.20 per cent, to stand at 1,160.54. At 3 p.m. (0600 GMT) the U.S. currency was quoted at 109.32-35 yen, up from 109.18-20 yen at the same time Wednesday.
