President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ali, has announced that Qatar deposited a sum of $ 3,000,000 in the account of Al-Aqsa and Al-Quds funds in order to enhance the available resources to support the Palestinian peoples' steadfastness. He said Qatar's contribution to the funds was in response to a decision of Beirut Summit calling on the member countries to provide an additional support of $ 150 million to these funds. On behalf of the Supreme Council and Managerial Committee, Dr Ali thanked the Qatari government and people for fulfilling their commitments toward the funds.
