held summit decided to establish a fund, and Saudi Arabia donated a generous portion to its resources, and we hope this task would be completed, for it is yet to be completed. One, among the most important things, the Kingdom insists in terms of the Arab common action, is seriousness and credibility, not only in decision taking but also in implementing what has been agreed upon, hence, we hope that this fund would be fully achieved and starts its functions. On the Arab Economic Summit resolutions on Gaza reconstruction, and the difficulties it faced due to Israeli blockade at the time, and on another resolution or call to support the steadfastness of Al-Quds, and whether Arab countries would commit themselves to these two resolutions, in such circumstances, Prince Saud said that Arab countries can never abandon them and that supporting Al-Quds or Al-Aqsa Fund has been in existence for years; and it is UN responsibility to allow these assistances and to fulfill the purpose for which they have been raised. Concerning the issues of Pan Arab land and maritime interlinks, food as well as water security, and whether there is a timetable for them, and how much cooperation, on this respect, is achieved to turn these projects, into realities, Prince Saud pointed out that the Arab countries have been urged that each on its soil carry out its part. For Land interlink, the railways for instance, we in Saudi Arabia have been hand and foot preoccupied to finish these projects. For maritime, seaports and electric interlinks have begun working in some Arab countries and will be completed in the others. There is an awareness in the importance of these issues: these are the essential structures for economies, and therefore there is a will that these project be brought about as soon as possible. --More
