Chairman of Saudi Shoura (Consultative) Council, Sheikh Dr. Saleh Bin Abdullah Bin Humaid, and his accompanying delegation arrived yesterday in the city of Mostar as part of his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina in response to an invitation from the Council of peoples and representatives. They were received by the Mayor of Mostar and a number of senior officials. Later, a meeting was held in which Mostar's Mayor highlighted the strong relations linking the two countries. On his part, Sheikh Saleh delivered a speech in which he said that the bilateral relations are developing and that his discussions with Bosnian officials focused on the necessity of improving these relations. Sheikh Saleh said he was delighted to know from the Bosnian officials that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had been the biggest supporter during the Bosnian crises. "We have capital and oil and you have agriculture, tourism and industry, so both countries should get to know each other much more better," Sheikh Saleh said. Later, Sheikh Saleh and Mostar's Mayor held a joint press conference which focused on various aspects of their discussions.
