The Indian capital was on a high security alert Sunday after 20 people were injured in bomb blasts in two cinemas, police said. The blasts took place at the Satyam and Liberty cinemas in central Delhi, dpa reported. The injured have been admitted to hospitals. There were no reports of deaths, PTI news agency reported. The blasts occurred at around 8:30 p.m. local time when the halls were packed with audiences, dpa reported. Thirteen people were injured by the blast in the rear stalls at Liberty cinema, a police officer said. Seven were injured in the blast which reportedly occurred in the toilet at Satyam cinema. Both halls were evacuated within an hour. All other cinema halls in the city were also being evacuated, NDTV reported. A witness told NDTV that there was a lot of panic in the Liberty cinema hall as the lights went out when the blast occurred.
