At least six people killed and 25 injured in bomb blast inside a cinema hall in India's northern Ludhiana city on Sunday, officials and local media reports said. The blast occurred near the screen of one of the three cinema halls in the Shringar multiplex located in the city's commercial area, minutes after a film-show began. While four persons died on the scene, two succumbed to their injuries at a hospital later, police said, adding that preliminary investigations indicated it was a terrorist strike. "It is a bomb blast and our special team is investigating the nature of explosives used. It appears to be the handiwork of terrorists," senior police official Harish Kumar told reporters according to DPA.
