A Russian Su-25 fighter bomber crashed Saturday in the Central Asian nation of Tajikistan, but the pilot ejected safely, the Russian Air Force said. The crash occurred 25 kilometers (15 miles) from the capital Dushanbe, Air Force spokesman Alexander Drobyshevsky said. The pilot reported a technical malfunction, ejected and was found 20 minutes later and taken to a hospital, where he was in satisfactory condition, Drobyshevsky told Russia's NTV television. The crash caused no damage or injuries on the ground, he said.
