Russia's air force says one of its fighter jets has crashed in the far east, but both crewmembers have ejected to safety. Air force spokesman Col. Vladimir Drik says the Su-27 UB crashed Monday while flying its first test mission after repairs. It came down near Vozdvizhenka air field in the far eastern Primorsky region, the Associated Press reported. Drik said both crewmembers safely ejected and were in satisfactory condition. There was no damage on the ground. He said that an official probe into the cause of the crash has begun.
