A Pakistani pilot on Saturday ejected safely before the crash of his F-7 fighter jet in central Pakistan, DPA quoted the sources of air force as saying. The pilot ejected just seconds before the plane hit the ground near Faisalabad while on a training mission, a statement from the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) said. An investigation was underway to determine the cause of accident, which apparently occurred because of a mechanical malfunction, the statement said. No one was injured and no damage caused.
