German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder will meet with U.S. President George W. Bush at the White House in June, Schroeder's spokesman said Friday. The meeting June 27 will be part of Schroeder's visit to the United States from June 26 to 29, spokesman Bela Anda said. The two will discuss international issues and hold a joint news conference, Anda said. Schroeder planned to end his trip in San Francisco, Anda said. More details were to be announced at a later date, AP reported. Schroeder's last visit to the United States was last February, when he visited the White House.
