French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin will leave hospital on Monday night at the earliest after surgery to remove gall stones after his gall bladder became acutely inflamed, officials said on Sunday. The 56-year-old prime minister was resting at the Val de Grace military hospital in Paris after the operation on Saturday and would be discharged Monday night or Tuesday morning, said a source close to the prime minister's office. Raffarin celebrate three years in office on Friday, but cancelled a trip to the eastern city of Reims on Saturday to mark the 60th anniversary of the end of World War Two in Europe, Reuters said.
