On behalf of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, opened here today an international conference on remote sensing organized by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology in cooperation with the International Association for Survey Imaging and Remote Sensing. A speech cermony was held on the occasion. Speakers focused on the important role of remote sensing. Prince Sattam delivered a speech on behalf of Prince Sultan expressing happiness for opening the conference. In the speech, Prince Sattam stressed Saudi Arabia's support for scientific research and its benefit from scientific developments and transfer and utilization of technology to serve its development.
