Under the patronage of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Angari opened here today the International Conference on "2010 Technologies of Communications", organized by the Saudi Society of Communications' Engineering under the title (Towards an industry of national developed communications activating the knowledge-based economy). At the outset of the opening ceremony, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Conference, Dr. Abdelaziz bin Salem Al-Ruwais delivered a speech in which he thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulziz Al Saud, for his consent to hold the conference. On behalf of the members and staff of the Saudi Society of Communications' Engineering, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salem also extended thanks the Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz for his patronage of this conference and his one million SR donation in support of the Saudi Society of Communications' Engineering to achieve its objectives.
