Joint Saudi Indian Committee ends its meetings

The Joint Saudi Indian Committee for Economic and Technical Cooperation ended its deliberations here today.
The Saudi side was led by Minister of Economy and Planning Khalid Al-Qusaibi and the Indian side was led by P. CHIDAMBARAM, Minister of Finance.
The two sides signed an agreement of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of Economy, Commerce, Investment, Education and Technology.
They also signed an agreement to establish a joint Saudi Indian Business Council to help in developing cooperation between private and general sectors.
