The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Singapore signed here today a general agreement for cooperation between the two countries. The agreement was signed by Minister of Economy and Planning and Acting Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Qusaibi and Singapore's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Zein Al-Abideen Rashid. The signing ceremony was attended by Singapore's Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. The agreement aims at enhancing the development of bilateral relations and cooperation in economic, commercial, investment, educational, scientific, technical, cultural, information, tourism, youth and sports fields as well as industrial, oil, mineral, petrochemical and agricultural projects.
