Moroccan customs have seized 16 tonnes of cannabis resin stashed in a potato-laden lorry bound for France, the official news agency MAP reported on Saturday. MAP quoted senior customs official Dalil Skali as saying the cannabis resin hidden in the potatoes was discovered just the lorry was about to be loaded onto a ship headed to France from Morocco's main business city Casablanca. The haul, seized on Thursday, has a street value of 160 million dirhams ($18.6 million), MAP said, adding police arrested the lorry driver, identified only as Spanish citizen, a French businessman and a Morrocan trader.
