Polish twins, Daria and Oligha, accompanied by their mother left here on Monday evening for Poland. Former Siamese twins had earlier undergone a successful separation operation at King Abdulaziz National Guard Medical City. The operation was conducted by a Saudi medical team, led by Dr Abdullah Al-Rabee'a. The twins were seen off at King Khalid International Airport by Deputy Executive Director of Medical Services in the Central Region Dr Saad Al-Muharraj and Polish ambassador to the Kingdom Adam Kolach. It is worth mentioning that the Siamese twins arrived in Riyadh on Dec 12, 2004, and the separation operation was conducted at the expense of Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, on Jan 3, 2005.
