Dr. Abdullah Alrabee'a, Executive Director General of the National Guard Health Affairs, stressed that the Polish Siamese twins are in a stable condition and all vital medical indexes are good. In his statement, Dr. Al-Rabee'a pointed out that the twins' respiratory and urinary systems and digestive canal have been working normally. The two Siamese twins had undergone the surgery at the expense of Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard. The operation of separation of the twins lasted 18 hours on Monday evening at King Abdulaziz National Guard Medical City. The operation was conducted by a 50-member Saudi medical team, including surgeons, physicians, technicians and nurses, under the leadership of Dr Al-Rabee'a. It is worth mentioning that this operation is the sixth of its kind conducted by the Saudi medical team under the leadership of Dr. Al-Rabeea's at King Abdulaziz National Guard Medical City.
