Pakistan test fires longest-range missile

Pakistan successfully
test-fired its long-range nuclear-capable missile Saturday,
a military spokesman said.
The Shaheen II missile has a range of 2,000 kilometers
(1,250 miles) and it successfully hit the target, said Maj.
Gen. Shaukat Sultan, spokesman for the Pakistan army.
He did not say where the test was conducted.
