Pakistan on Thursday successfully test-fired its short-range nuclear capable missile, Pakistan's military said. The launch of the surface-to-surface ballistic missile Abdali, which has a range of 180 kilometers (112 miles) was conducted from an unspecified location, and "all desired technical parameters were validated," a military statement said. The Abdali is considered capable of being fitted with a nuclear warhead. The test came followed last week's test of Pakistan's longest-range Shaheen II missile, which can travel 2,000 kilometers (1,250 miles).
