A moderate earthquake jolted Indonesia's Molucca Sea early Saturday, Hong Kong seismologists said. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage. The 5.7-magnitude quake hit the Molucca Sea at 3:10 a.m. local time (1910 GMT Friday) and was centered about 220 kilometers (137 miles) northwest of Ternate, the Hong Kong Observatory said. A magnitude-5 quake can damage buildings if it strikes a populated area.
