The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that moderate and torrential thundershowers, accompanied by active dusty winds are still forecasted to fall on some parts of Northern Borders, Hail, Al-Jawf, Eastern, Al-Qassim and Riyadh regions, as well as some parts of Makkah, Baha, Asser, Jazan and Najran regions, reducing the horizontal sight. The report added that the sky will be partly cloudy, with occurring of thunderstorms on some parts of Al-Jawf and Tabuk regions and the fog will be seen on some parts of these regions. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea would be northerly to northwesterly at a speed of 20-40 km/h, on the northern and central parts and southerly to southeasterly at a speed of 25-45 km/h, on southern part, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf would be easterly to southeasterly at a speed of 18-38 km/h, reaching 45 km/h, with occurring of thunderstorms.
