The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that the moderate and torrential thundershowers, accompanied by active dusty winds are still forecasted to fall on some parts of Najran, Jazan, Asser, Baha and Makkah regions, extending to eastern parts of Madinah region, as well as some parts of Riyadh, Qassim, Northern Borders, Eastern, Hail and Jawf regions, reducing the horizontal sight and the fog will be seen on these regions. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be southerly to southwesterly at speed of 15-30km/h, on northern part and northeasterly to northwesterly at speed of 15-32km/h, reaching 50km/h, with occurring of thunderstorms on the central and southern parts and southwesterly to southeasterly at speed of 15-40km/h, towards Bab el-Mandeb Strait, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be northerly to northeasterly at speed 15-32km/h, gradually turning easterly to southeasterly at speed of 15-35km/h, reaching 50km/h, with occurring of thunderstorms on northern and central parts and northeasterly to southeasterly at speed of 15-30km/h, gradually turning northerly to northwesterly at speed of 15-36km/h on southern part.
