The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that the sky will be partly cloudy on most regions of the Kingdom, while the thundershowers, accompanied by active dusty winds are still forecasted to fall on some parts of Jazan, Asser, Baha and Makkah regions, reducing the horizontal sight and the fog will be seen on some parts of the heights of these regions. The report added that the thunderstorms, preceded by active winds will occur on some parts of Madinah, Riyadh, Qassim and Hail regions, extending to the northern parts of the Eastern region, reducing the horizontal sight, while the surface dusty winds will be active on some parts of Northern Borders, Jawf, as well as the northern parts of Tabuk regions, reducing the horizontal sight. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northerly to northwesterly at speed of 12-32km/h, on the northern part and southerly to southwesterly at speed of 15-35km/h, on the southern part, reaching more than 45km/h, towards Bab el-Mandeb Strait, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be easterly to southeasterly at speed of 12-35km/h, on the northern part and northerly to northeasterly at speed 12-30km/h, on the southern part.
