The Arab Regional Counter-terrorism Symposium organized by Arab justice ministerial council in cooperation with UN Bureau on Combating Crime and Narcotics started its sessions here today. In a speech delivered on behalf of Amr Moussa, the Secretary General of the Arab League, Ridhwan bin Khadhra, the League's Head of Legal Administration noted the International Counter-terrorism Conference recently concluded in Riyadh and its recommendations which form a firm basis for the enhancement of international cooperation to combat terrorism within a comprehensive strategy. On his part, UN Assistant Secretary General and Executive Director of Counter-terrorism Committee Javier Robbers praised the statement issued by Riyadh Conference on combating terrorism.
