The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that the thundershowers, accompanied active surface dusty winds will continue to fall on Najran, Jazan, Asir, Baha, Makkah, Madinah and Tabuk Regions, extending to the coastal parts of the said regions, as well as the southern parts of the Eastern Region (Empty Quarter) and Riyadh Region (Wadi Al Dawasir), while the dust winds will continue to occur on some parts of eastern, central and southwest Regions. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northwesterly at speed of 25-45 km/h, on northern parts and at speed of 20-40 km/h, on central part, and southwesterly to northwesterly at speed of 20-40 km/h, on southern part, reaching at speed of 45km/h with thunderclouds on the central and southern parts, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be northerly to northeasterly, gradually turning southeasterly at speed 10-25km/h.
