The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that the moderate and torrential thundershowers will continue to fall on Baha, Asir, Jazan and Najran regions. The report added that the thundershowers, accompanied active surface dusty winds will also continue to fall on Makkah and Madinah Regions, extending to the coastal parts of the said regions, as well as the southern part of Tabuk, Hail, the Eastern (Empty Quarter) and Riyadh Regions (Wadi Al Dawasir), while the surface dusty winds will be active on some parts of Eastern, Riyadh and Qassim Regions, extending to Najran Region, as well as the coastal roads, extending from Makkah Region to Jazan Region, reducing the horizontal sight and the fog will be seen in the early morning hours on Jazan, Asir and Baha heights. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be westerly to northwesterly at speed of 20-40 km/h, on northern and central parts and southwesterly to northwesterly at speed of 20-40 km/h, on southern part, reaching at speed of 45 km/h, with thunderclouds on the central and southern parts, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be northerly to northeasterly, gradually turning easterly at speed 18-38km/h.
