As part of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Austria, Austrian Federal Minister for Digital and Economic Affairs Margarete Schramböck is scheduled to visit Riyadh tomorrow on the sidelines of the Saudi-Austrian Investment Forum and the Joint Saudi-Austrian Committee on Tuesday March 15. During her visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Schramböck is also planned to meet several ministers and officials to discuss current and future bilateral efforts and means to go over cooperation means and develop relations between the two countries in economic, commercial and investment aspects. The eighth session of the joint Saudi-Austrian Committee will be launched under the presidency of the Deputy Minister for International Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Economy and Planning Bandar Al-Khamis, where the committee works include reviewing existing cooperation between the two countries and signing several agreements and memorandums of understanding that aim at boosting cooperation and enhancing contribution in various fields between the two nations. Al-Khamis noted that the meeting of the joint Saudi-Austrian Committee is a culmination of existing and ongoing cooperation between the two countries and will discuss means and mechanisms to enhance economic cooperation in a way that benefits both sides. The joint Saudi-Austrian Committee kicked off in 2004 and focuses on discussing means of cooperation in various fields that contribute to further developing the two countries.
