The Joint Saudi-Austrian Committee started a meeting here today under the co-chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Economy and Planning Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Hakami, and Austrian Deputy Minister of Economy, Family and Youth Josef Mayer. During the meeting, Al-Hakami pointed to the distinguished relations between the two countries over many years. He said he was looking forward that the Committee's deliberations will contribute to strengthening bilateral economic cooperation particularly in the investment field. On his part, Mayer expressed his country's desire for further cooperation between the two countries especially in the fields of water, environment and health services.
