The Filipino President received here today Saudi ambassador to the Philippines Mohammed Emin Wali, who conveyed to her the greetings of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard. The ambassador briefed the President on the relief assistance sent by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Philippines. Meanwhile, the Filipino President expressed appreciation for the assistance extended by the Kingdom to her country, and confirmed her country's solidarity with the Saudi government and people in combating terrorism. The Filipino President said she will participate in the international conference on combating terrorism, due to be organized in Riyadh, and said she will be accompanied by a high-ranking delegation. She underlined the importance of cementing Saudi-Filipino relations, and hoped that the Saudi businessmen would invest their capitals in her country.
