Filipino Secretary of Interior & Local Government Ronaldo Puno received here today Director General of the General Administration of Combating Drugs Smuggling General Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Furaih, who was accompanied by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Philippines, Mohammad Amin Wali. During the reception, Puno affirmed that cooperation in security between Saudi Arabia and philippines should include various spheres, saying that the Kingdom is an important political and economic partner to Philippines. He also said that the recent visit of Philippines President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to Saudi Arabia was positive and it would bolster the relations between the two countries in the field of Combatting Drugs Smuggling and all other fields. At the end of the reception, Puno asked Wali and Al-Furaih to convey his greetings to Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz saying that he looks forward to visiting the Kingdom and exchanging cooperation and information at an international level to combat drugs smuggling.
