The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a message to President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo of the Philippines on strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in all areas. The message was delivered here today by Saudi Ambassador to Philippines Mohammed Ameen Wali. For her part, the President sent her greetings to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the officials in Saudi Arabia for the generous care given by Saudi authorities to more than one million Filipinos working in the Kingdom. She valued the prominent role and initiatives launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in order to stabilize oil prices to serve the interests of peoples throughout the world. She also thanked the Kingdom for the humanitarian assistance provided to the people recently hit by natural disasters in the Philippines. She confirmed to the ambassador that The Philippines will attend the International Conference for Dialogue in Madrid under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. She also confirmed that the Philippines seeks dialogue and supports the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, citing its prospected positive effects throughout the world.
