Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf has stressed the importance of continuing coordination, cooperation and support for distinguished Gulf-European relations to seize opportunities in all fields and serve common interests. This came during the Secretary General's meeting in Riyadh today with European Union Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Patrick Simonnet and ambassadors of the European Union countries accredited to the Kingdom. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Hajraf reviewed the achievements of the GCC, referring to the outcomes of the 42nd GCC Summit, which was held in Riyadh on December 14, 2021, stressing its importance in the process of the Council. The meeting also dealt with aspects of cooperation between the GCC and the European Union and ways to enhance the cooperation, in addition to discussing the regional and international developments.
