The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf met in Riyadh today with Ambassador of the European Union to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman Michele Cervone D'urso on the occasion of the end of his term. The meeting discussed the progress of programs and initiatives between the GCC and the EU under the framework of the Joint Cooperation Agreement of 1988. The Secretary General thanked the Ambassador for his efforts and great support for the joint work between the GCC and the EU, expressing his happiness of the progress of cooperation between the GCC and the EU in all areas.
