A Russian plane made an emergency landing on Wednesday after smoke entered the passenger compartment, the Emergency Situations Ministry said. No one was hurt. The Vladivostok-Avia Tu-154 plane, which was carrying about 80 passengers and 10 crew members, took off from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula and was bound for the Pacific port of Vladivostok when smoke entered the tail compartment, said ministry spokesman Viktor Beltsov. The plane returned to the point of departure and a relief flight was delayed by a heavy snowstorm.
