The Saudi Petrochemical International Company (SPICOM) has celebrated the exportation of its first shipment of Methanol to Japan. The 16500 metric tons consignment is the first production of the Jubail-based Methanol plant which has commenced production two months ahead of schedule at a production capacity of 2950 metric tons daily. During this period, no on-duty injury was reported, officials said.
