Saudi Minister of Higher Education Dr Khaled Al-Anqari, after launching the Saudi universities Week in Sanaa on Monday, said cooperation exists in the field of scientific research between Saudi and Yemeni universities. He hoped that cooperation in this respect would further be expanded in future. Dr Al-Anqari said it would be possible to enhance cooperation between the Saudi and Yemeni universities in numerous spheres such as research in the field of palm trees and marine environment. He pointed out that Yemeni Prime Minister Abdel-Kadir Bajamal, at the inaugural ceremony of the Saudi universities week yesterday, underlined the importance of enhancing cooperation between Hassa-based King Faisal University and Hadramout University in the field of palms trees, and in the field of marine environment between the Jeddah-based King Abdulaziz University and Al-Hudeidah University in Yemen. On his part, Yemeni Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr Abdulwahab Rawah reiterated the keenness of his country on enhancing cooperation with the Kingdom in the field of scientific research.
