Saudi Minister of Higher Education Dr Khalid Al-Anqari has patronized the signing ceremony of cooperation agreement between King Abdulaziz University (KAU) of Saudi Arabia and Complutense University (UCM) of Madrid, Spain. Speaking the occasion, he said the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is planning to develop the university education in quantity and quality. "Moreover, the Kingdom is keen on promoting cooperation with the educational institutions abroad". On his part, the Rector of Complutense University of Madrid said his university is keen on accepting more Saudi students at UCM as well as on cementing cooperation with the Saudi universities. "Our university is also keen on forging cooperation with the Kingdom in the field of scientific research," he said. Meanwhile, Dr Al-Anqari visited the Spanish Higher Council for scientific research. Dr Al-Anqari said the Kingdom has made big strides in the educational domain and the required sums have been allocated for expansion in the educational field. He noted that the Kingdom is keen on enhancing cooperation with the educational institutions throughout the world.
