King Faisal University and Kanazawa University of Japan have recently signed a scientific cooperation agreement. The agreement was signed during a visit to Japan by Dr. Yousuf Al-Jandan, KFU President. The agreement provides for cooperation between the two universities in the areas of education, scientific research, training, organization of scientific meetings and exchanges of students. Dr. Al-Jandan held meetings with senior officials of several universities and discussed enhancement of scientific relations and scholarships with them. Dr. Issam Bin Amanullah Bukhari, Saudi Cultural Attache in Japan, said KFU team's visit comes in the framework of activating the memorandum of cooperation between the Saudi and Japanese ministries of higher education signed by Dr. Khalid Al-Anqari, Minister of Higher Education, during his visit to Japan in July, 2010.
