The Arab Parliament has commended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's measures on organizing the Hajj season and limiting registration for this year's Hajj to citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia, noting that this decision reflects Saudi Arabia's keenness to hold Hajj ritual in a safe manner and in accordance with utmost health precautionary measures and security requirements to ensure the safety of pilgrims. In a statement, the parliament has also praised all efforts being exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, to serve pilgrims and maintain their safety. The Arab Parliament concluded the statement by commending all precautionary and preventive measures that the government of Saudi Arabia has taken since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, whereas these measures contributed to minimizing the negative impacts of the pandemic and limiting its spread.
